Professor Bahram Shafai is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, where he has served since 1985. He holds a PhD from George Washington University and advanced degrees from ETH Zurich. As director of the ECE Capstone Design Program since 1996, he oversees student projects in engineering design. His research focuses on control systems, signal processing, and robust control, with contributions to fault detection, robotics, and biological systems control.
