Bahareh Mosadegh Sedghy

Bahareh Mosadegh Sedghy is an Associate Professor at the Dhillon School of Business, University of Lethbridge, specializing in Global Business. She joined the institution in 2017 and has taught courses such as Business of Agriculture, International Trade, Risk Management in Agriculture, and Research Methods.

Her research focuses on international trade, supply chain management, risk management, and sustainability in agriculture. She has explored topics like organic agribusiness supply chains, price insurance programs for farmers, RFID technology in cold chain monitoring, and trade policy impacts on agricultural markets.

Her publications reflect a broad interest in agricultural economics and supply chain innovations, with specific emphasis on agricultural risk assessment, trade policy, and technological applications. While one 2018 article analyzes supply response in Quebec corn farming, others address literature gaps in RFID technology and preferential trade networks.

Outside academia, she enjoys dancing and outdoor activities like picnics. Her work history includes a one-year study leave at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) in 2022.
