BRIGUGLIA GIANLUCA

Gianluca Briguglia is a scholar specializing in medieval political thought and intellectual history. He currently holds a faculty position at San Raffaele University. Previously, he served as Associate Professor (maître de conférences) at Université de Strasbourg (2015-2019) and held prestigious fellowships including the Marie Curie (EHESS Paris, 2010-2012), Humboldt (LMU Munich, 2007-2009), and Lise Meitner (Vienna, 2012-2014). His research focuses on medieval political philosophy, institutional theory, and historiography of figures like Brunetto Latini and Marsile de Padoua.

Research Interests: His work examines the intersection of medieval political institutions, ecclesiology, and intellectual movements. Key areas include:
