BARBARA LUBKE

Barbara Lubke is a Professor at the Department of English and German Philology, Faculty of Philology, University of Santiago de Compostela. She holds a PhD from the same institution (2012) with a thesis titled 'Valenztheorie und kontrastive analysis der verbalkombinatorik im deutschen und im spanischen,' advised by Dra. Irene Doval Reixa. Her research focuses on contrastive analysis of verbal structures across German and Spanish, contributing to the LitLin@ group studying digital content in literature and linguistics. Research Interests: Specializes in applying valency theory to comparative linguistic analysis, digital humanities applications in philology, and multilingual corpus studies. Engages in cross-linguistic research bridging Germanic and Romance languages.
