Prof. Dr. Bahattin Hakyemez is a faculty member at Bursa Uludağ University's Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiology. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and completed radiology specialization at Uludağ University in 2001. After military service at the 15th Missile Base in Istanbul, he worked at private centers (2001-2004) before joining Uludağ University as a specialist lecturer. He became Associate Professor in 2005 and Professor in 2010.
- Specializes in interventional radiology, particularly neurovascular procedures
- Founder and active practitioner of advanced neurovascular interventions
- Teaches radiology at undergraduate and graduate levels
His research focuses on:
- Endovascular treatments for acute stroke
- Spinal fracture interventions (vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty)
- CT/MRI myelography for diagnostic purposes
