Azzurra Ragone is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at the Department of Computer Science, University of Bari Aldo Moro. She has previously held research positions at institutions including the Polytechnic of Bari, University of Trento, University of Michigan (USA), and University of Milan Bicocca.
Research Interests:
- Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI ethics, fairness, and explainability)
- Recommender Systems (personalization and user modeling)
- Negotiation (AI for decision-making and collaborative systems)
Academic Contributions: With over 90 publications in national and international workshops, conferences, and journals, her work spans AI systems, data-driven decision-making, and human-AI interaction.
Industry Experience: She has worked in non-academic roles as an Innovation and Transformation lead for EY, Program Manager for Google, Branch Country Manager for BurdaForward, and Project Manager/BI consultant for Exprivia S.p.A. and other Italian companies.
