Azeb Haileselassie is an Assistant Teaching Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Notre Dame, serving as French Language Course Coordinator. She holds a Licence et Maîtrise from Université de Toulouse II (France), an M.A. from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Research & Teaching: Her expertise spans French Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, and Second Language Acquisition. She has taught courses in French Phonetics, Grammar, Pedagogy, and Contemporary Culture. Notably, she received the 2010 French Department Award for Teaching Excellence at UIUC for her contributions to language pedagogy and TA training.
Office Hours: Fridays 2-4pm (Zoom/In-Person) in 373 Decio Faculty Hall.
