Azadeh Chalabi is a Lecturer in Law at the School of Law, Ulster University, and a researcher at the Transitional Justice Institute (TJI). She completed her PhD at University College London (UCL) Faculty of Laws in 2015, alongside an LLB and LLM with high honours.
- Teaching: Human Rights Law, Gender and Human Rights, Comparative Law, Empirical Research Methods.
- Research: Focuses on bridging human rights theory and practice, with emphasis on National Human Rights Action Plans, business and human rights, and global governance.
- Awards: Recipient of three research scholarships from UCL Graduate School and Faculty of Laws.
- Experience: Human rights advisor and trainer for NGOs, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to human rights.
