Dr. Ayşenur UÇAR serves as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department (English Program) at Doğuş University's Faculty of Engineering since 2020. Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant in Mathematics at Sinop University (2010-2018) and taught mathematics at a private institution (2019-2020).
Education:
- PhD in Mathematics, Sinop University Institute of Science (2019)
- MS in Mathematics, Sinop University Institute of Science (2012)
- BS in Mathematics, Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Science and Letters (2009)
Her research bridges pure mathematics with engineering applications, focusing on differential geometry concepts like generalized Fermi-Walker derivatives and their applications to hypersurfaces and non-rotating frames. She also investigates asymptotic methods for singularly perturbed differential equations with periodic solutions. Her work appears in journals including International Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics and MANAS Journal of Engineering.
Teaching load includes core mathematics courses for engineers: Calculus I/II, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Geometry. She has taught both Turkish and English sections since 2020, with increasing responsibilities in foundational mathematics instruction.
During her doctoral studies at Sinop University, she participated as a researcher in a scientific research project while publishing in international journals. Her academic trajectory shows consistent specialization in geometric methods with applications to physical systems.
