Ayşenur Gül

Ayşenur Gül serves as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Işık University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, where her interdisciplinary work bridges materials science, chemical engineering, and occupational safety with emphasis on carbon-based nanomaterials and industrial hazard prevention.

Her academic credentials include:

• M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (2002-2005)
• M.Sc. in Occupational Health and Safety (non-thesis) from Üsküdar University (2015-2016)
• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (1997-2002)

Research centers on advanced carbon material development including microcellular carbon foam modeling, electrochemical impedance studies of polymer-coated foams, and nanofiller-reinforced epoxy composites, while concurrently addressing critical safety concerns in lithium-ion battery handling, chemical hazards, and fire prevention protocols. Her work demonstrates consistent integration of nanomaterials innovation with practical occupational health applications across industrial and medical contexts.

She has supervised two master's theses at Üsküdar University on environmental risk mitigation at fuel stations and explosion hazards in vegetable oil extraction processes.
