Dr. Aysel GUL is a researcher in the Department of Nursing at Sakarya University's Faculty of Health Sciences. She earned her PhD in Nursing from Sakarya University (2019–2020), a Master's in Nursing with a thesis on functional independence in post-arthroplasty patients (Gazi University, 2016–2019), and a Licence degree in Nursing from Ankara University (2010–2014). Her academic career includes a Research Assistant role at Sakarya University (2015–2019).

Recent publications highlight trends in surgical techniques (minimally invasive approaches, reoperations), pandemic-related shifts in remote education and infection control, and holistic care strategies for cancer patients, including scalp cooling and wound management.
