Aymeric Glacet

Aymeric Glacet is a Professor of French and French Studies at the University of the South. He earned a Ph.D. from Emory University (2003) and a Docteur ès lettres from Lille 3 University, France (2004). His research spans twentieth-century French literature, Francophone studies, literary criticism, and French cinema history.

Research interests include:

• Twentieth-century French prose, theatre, poetry, and criticism
• Early French literature
• Francophone cultures of North Africa and the Caribbean
• Historical evolution of French cinema

Professor Glacet actively teaches courses across all levels, emphasizing engagement with French literary and cultural traditions. He has authored two books and multiple scholarly articles on prominent French authors.
