Aymen Mir

Aymen Mir is a researcher specializing in 3D Computer Vision at the University of Tübingen and Max Planck Institute for Informatics under Dr. Gerard Pons-Moll. He holds a Masters in Computer Science from Saarland University and a Bachelors from NIT Srinagar.

His research focuses on human motion capture, 3D scene understanding, and generative models. Notable contributions include motion synthesis in 3DV 2023, HPS (CVPR 2021 Best Paper Finalist), and texture transfer work (CVPR 2020).

Teaching experience includes Informatik II (2023), Mathematics for Machine Learning (2021), and Machine Learning (2019). Active in review roles for CVPR, NeurIPS, and ECCV since 2020. Organized CVPR 2024's 3D Compositional Workshop.
