Ayham Jaaron is an Associate Professor/Reader in Sustainable Management at the Leicester Castle Business School, Faculty of Business and Law, De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. He also serves as Faculty Head of Research Students and is an External Examiner at Leeds Business School, Leeds Beckett University. Previously, he was an Associate Professor in Sustainable Operations Management at An-Najah National University, Palestine (2010–2019), where he held leadership roles including Head of the Industrial Engineering Department and Director of the Quality Assurance Unit.

Ayham's research is multidisciplinary, focusing on sustainable management, service operations, logistics and supply chain, Industry 4.0, systems thinking, and green human resource management. His work bridges theory and practice, particularly in developing country contexts. He applies systems thinking to foster organizational resilience, double-loop learning, and sustainable performance across manufacturing and service sectors.
His recent publications highlight trends in digital transformation, sustainability integration, and the role of big data analytics in logistics and supply chains. He explores how green HRM, CSR, and ethical leadership influence sustainable practices and customer behavior, particularly in hospitality and manufacturing. His conceptual and empirical studies often employ systems approaches to address complex operational and strategic challenges.

Ayham supervises several PhD and DBA students and has completed multiple supervisions. He has led externally funded projects such as the Zamalah Fellowship and internally funded HEIF projects on digital logistics in SMEs. He serves on editorial boards including Technological Sustainability (Emerald) and European Management Review (Wiley), and is a reviewer for top journals like Journal of Cleaner Production and International Journal of Production Research. He is also an Academic Program Evaluator for the Palestinian AQAC and has contributed to ABET accreditation efforts in Palestine.
He is affiliated with the Institute of Responsible Business and Social Justice at DMU and co-leads the Sustainable Business Futures Impact Hub. His professional memberships include Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Chartered Management Institute (MCMI), and the Social Responsibility Research Network (SRRNet).
