Ayesha Alvero, MD, MSc, is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Oncology. Previously at Yale University School of Medicine, she focuses on molecular mechanisms of ovarian cancer stem cells, chemoresistance, and immunotherapy development.
