Axel Polleres

Axel Polleres is a full professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien), leading the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management and heading the Data Management group within the Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management. He specializes in Semantic Web technologies, knowledge representation, and open data. His work includes contributions to SPARQL, RDF, and W3C standards.
