Axel Holvoet is a Professor at Vilnius University (since 2010) and former Professor at the University of Warsaw (1988-2015). He specializes in Baltic and Slavic linguistics, with expertise in historical syntax, morphosyntax, grammatical semantics, evidentiality, aspect theory, and modality.
