Dr. Avishai Sintov is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tel Aviv University, within the Fleischman Faculty of Engineering. He previously held postdoctoral positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2016-2018) and Rutgers University (2018-2019).

His research focuses on robotics, particularly dual-arm manipulation of rigid and elastic objects, robotic grasping, underactuated hands, dynamic manipulations, motion planning, machine learning for robots, and constrained systems. His work emphasizes hardware simplicity to enable low-cost solutions with minimal sensing while implementing advanced algorithms.
