Avick Sinha

Dr. Avick Sinha is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Brighton, affiliated with the Advanced Engineering Centre and the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Devices. He holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (2013–2019) and has expertise in multiphase flows, free shear flows, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using OpenFOAM. His research focuses on developing advanced wound dressings and investigates flow dynamics in aerospace and biomedical contexts.

• Wound exudate management and material characterization
• Optimization of biomedical materials for tissue repair
• Flow instability analysis in gas turbines and aero-engine bearings
