Aurelie Sinte is a Professor at the University of Namur, affiliated with the Namur Institute of Language, Text and Transmediality (NaLTT). Her research focuses on sign language studies, contrastive linguistics, and multimodal communication. She holds a Doctor of Letters degree from the University of Namur (2007–2013), specializing in temporal aspects of French Belgian Sign Language (LSFB).
Research & Projects: She leads projects on sign language accessibility, bilingual education for deaf children, and corpus development (e.g., Lex-LSFB). Key projects include 'Pratiques du français oral' (2017–present) and 'Axis Communication et accessibilité en langue des signes' (2015–2016).
