Aurelie Poncet is Assistant Professor of Precision Agriculture at the University of Arkansas, appointed in 2020. She holds a PhD in Biosystems Engineering from Auburn University and an MS in Agricultural Engineering from Montpellier SupAgro.
Research Program: Develops data-driven solutions for agricultural optimization through:
- On-farm research methodologies
- Heterogeneous big data integration
- Spatiotemporal analysis of crop systems
- Sensor-based phenotyping
Teaching: Offers precision agriculture courses covering technology implementation, software applications, and management strategies for modern crop production challenges.
