Augustin Chaintreau is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University's Columbia Engineering and a member of the Data Science Institute (DSI). He directs the Mobile Social Lab, focusing on balancing data utility with privacy and fairness in social networks. His work explores transparency in personalization systems, mobility privacy, crowdsourced content curation, and fair data-sharing incentives.
