Audrey de Montis is a Lecturer in public law at the University of Rennes' Faculty of Law and Political Science since 2015. She concurrently serves as Director of studies for the Bachelor 2 Law program (since 2016) and Co-director of the Excellence Pathway (since 2018), while holding leadership roles in the French Association of Constitutional Law and Association Parlons démocratie as Brittany Referent.
She earned her Doctorate in 2014 and received CNU section 02 qualification in 2015, establishing her academic credentials in legal and political scholarship.
Her research critically examines constitutional frameworks and parliamentary operations, particularly focusing on the political efficacy of France's 2008 constitutional reforms regarding public parliamentary sessions. This work bridges theoretical constitutional analysis with practical legislative behavior in French political institutions.
Her scholarly recognition includes the prestigious First prize for the thesis of the Senate 2015, awarded for her doctoral research on parliamentary session reforms.
De Montis actively contributes to academic discourse through her affiliation with the ILF-GERJC research team, advancing studies in constitutional governance and democratic processes.
