Atte Aho is a Project researcher at Åbo Akademi University, affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and specifically the Laboratory of Technical Chemistry and Reaction Engineering. His research focuses on catalysis, biomass conversion, and sustainable chemical processes for a sustainable future.

His recent work demonstrates expertise in methane reforming, catalytic condensation reactions, oxidation processes, and biomass conversion technologies.

Aho has been actively involved in international collaborations, particularly through the Finnish Indian Consortia for Research and Education (FICORE), working on thermal conversion of challenging feedstocks with a focus on pyrolysis.
