Atsuhide Ito is a Senior Research Fellow and Convenor of the Art and Music Research Group at Solent University. His research focuses on intersections of art, environment, and social change, with particular emphasis on topics like hauntology, urban cultural spaces, and environmental representation through mixed media.
Research interests include tempera techniques, postcolonial ecological narratives, and the sociocultural implications of radiation and industrial pollution. His work often explores contested spaces through collaborative art projects and installations.
