Atisha King

Captain Atisha King serves as Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Assistant Operations Officer at AFROTC Detachment 765, The Citadel. She oversees instructional activities for one of the largest Air Force ROTC detachments. Her career includes roles as an Aerospace Medical Services Craftsman, ICBM Operator, and Force Support Officer. Educated at the College of Charleston (BS in Psychology), she holds an MS in Health Administration from Trident University International.

Notable awards include the Air & Space Commendation Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Her leadership roles include Section Commander at the 34th Intelligence Squadron and Military Personnel Flight Commander at JB Anacostia-Bolling. She has completed key training programs like Squadron Officer School and Detachment Cadre Instructor Course.
