Dr. Aswani Kumar Cherukuri is a Professor at the School of Information Technology and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, India. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from VIT and Bachelors/Masters degrees from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Research interests span three transformative domains:
- Information Security
- Machine Learning
- Quantum Computing
Award-winning academic, he has received the Young Scientist Fellowship from Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology and was recognized as an Inspiring Teacher by Indian Express (40 Under Forty). His sponsored research spans projects funded by India's Department of Science and Technology, Department of Atomic Energy, and Ministry of Human Resources Development.
A Senior Member of ACM, he organized a 2017 Summer School on Information and Systems Security through ACM India, delivering technical talks at international conferences while serving on editorial boards of multiple journals.
