Assaad Gerbert Farhah

Prof. Assaad Gerbert Farhah is a Professor in the TUM School of Life Sciences at the Technical University of Munich, leading the Biotechnology of Natural Products group under Prof. Wilfried Schwab. His research focuses on plant resilience to climate stresses like heat, drought, and low light, spanning from ecosystem-level agroforestry systems to molecular mechanisms of growth decisions. He holds a PhD from MIT and has held key roles at institutions including the Carnegie Institution at Stanford and LMU Munich.
