Asif Qureshi

Asif Qureshi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. He holds a D.Sc. in Environmental Science from ETH Zurich and leads the Emerging Contaminants Group (ECG), which focuses on mercury pollution, heavy metals, and persistent organic pollutants (POPs). His work aligns with global conventions like the Minamata Convention on mercury and the Stockholm Convention on POPs.
