Ashok Kumar Pandey

Ashok Kumar Pandey is a Professor and currently the Head of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IISc, Bengaluru in 2008. His research focuses on Linear and Nonlinear Vibration, Vehicle Dynamics, MEMS & NEMS based Sensors and Actuators, and Nanoscience & Technology.

He has led numerous sponsored projects funded by organizations such as DST, CSIR, AR&DB, and industry partners like Hyundai and Honeywell. Notable administrative roles include Chair of the Technical Committee on Micromachines at IFToMM and membership in the Academic Council of COEP Tech University. He also serves as Faculty Advisor for the BTech(ME)-2018 Batch and coordinated MTech programs in Integrated Sensors Systems and Electric Vehicle Technology.
