Ashok Krishnamurthy

Ashok Krishnamurthy is a Research Professor of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Director of the Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI). He also serves as Lead Faculty for the Master of Applied Data Science program and Director of the biomedical informatics service at NCTraCS. His expertise spans data science, high-performance computing, and interdisciplinary research collaboration.

Educational background: Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida; B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

• Research focuses on data analytics for healthcare/social sciences, medical image analysis, machine learning, and industrial productivity tools.
