Ashley Salas

Ashley Salas is an Adjunct Professor at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL), where she teaches the Intra-school Moot Court Competition. She practices Administrative Law before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) as a Telecommunications Regulatory and Policy Attorney at The Utility Reform Network (TURN), focusing on low-income LifeLine programs, broadband infrastructure grants, and digital literacy initiatives. Her advocacy addresses the digital divide and discriminatory practices in telecommunications policy.

Professionally, she has interned at the U.S. District Court (Southern District of California), San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, U.S. Department of Interior, and San Diego City Attorney’s Office. She previously served on TJSL’s Alumni Board (2018–2019) and leads boards for Global Conservation Force (wildlife conservation) and is a native bee hobbyist.
