Ashley Lytle is Associate Professor of Psychology at Stevens Institute of Technology, directing research on prejudice, stereotyping, and discrimination impacts on academic/social/health outcomes. Recipient of NSF CAREER Award and ASME Rising Star award.
Education includes PhD from Stony Brook University and MA in Social/Health Psychology.
Research examines ageism reduction, STEM engagement/retention, intergroup contact theory, and pandemic impacts on students. Leads NSF-funded projects on adaptive expertise in STEM education and aging in place technologies.
Current projects investigate nuclear risk perception, intergenerational friendships, and diversity preservation in many-objective evolutionary algorithms.
