Ashley E. Orr

Ashley E. Orr is an incoming Assistant Professor of Public Policy at The Ohio State University's John Glenn College of Public Affairs. Her work combines economic modeling with social policy analysis to address market failures, poverty, inequality, and community support systems in Ohio and nationally. She maintains affiliations with the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) at the University of Notre Dame.

• Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Youngstown State University

Dr. Orr's research focuses on economic policy interventions for social welfare improvement, particularly through cash transfer programs and labor economics frameworks. Her work bridges quantitative economic analysis with practical policy design.

She has previously served as an adjunct instructor at Carnegie Mellon University, St. Catherine's University, and Oxbridge Academic Programs at Pembroke College, Oxford.
