Ashley A. Roark

Dr. Ashley A. Roark is an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, specializing in breast imaging within the Department of Radiology. She practices at the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center McNair campus and the Smith Clinic under the Harris Health System, where she serves as Medical Director of Breast Imaging. Dr. Roark combines clinical expertise with a strong focus on medical education.

• Education: Fellowship in Breast Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School; Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine; Internship in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Medical School; MD from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine; BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.

Her research interests center on breast cancer screening and detection, emphasizing advanced imaging modalities like mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI.
