Ashis Jalote Parmar is an Associate Professor in Design for Health and Innovation at the Department of Design, NTNU. She holds a PhD in industrial design from TU Delft, Netherlands, focusing on augmented reality in surgery. Her research emphasizes human-centered technology for public health, including AR/VR, AI, and embedded systems. She leads the Design4HealthLab and projects like PATHS (Nordforsk, 2025-2028) and Sunn Utøver (NTNU Discovery Grant).
