Assoc. Prof. Arzu ÇİLLİ is affiliated with Yıldız Technical University in the Faculty of Arts & Science, Department of Physics. Her academic career spans over 25 years, with roles progressing from Research Assistant (1991-1999) to Assistant Professor (1999-2015) and currently Associate Professor (2015-continues). She serves as Head of the Department Promotion and Alumni Relations Committee (2019-continues) and previously as Head of Department (2008-2009).
Her research bridges Mathematical Physics with applications in Composite Materials and Epidemic Modeling. Key areas include fracture mechanics of layered composites, torsional wave propagation in pre-stressed structures, and AI-driven disease prediction models (ANFIS, SIR, SI/SIS). She has secured institutional funding for AI-based composite material analysis (2024-2025).
Recent publications focus on:
- 2024: f(Q,Lm) gravity cosmology and black hole particle dynamics
- 2022: AI-enhanced fracture criteria analysis
- 2019: FGM sphere vibrations and epidemic modeling
She has peer-reviewed for journals like Sigma Journal and AIP Conference Proceedings, and organized scientific events including the Türk Fizik Derneği congresses. Her 2016-2025 academic jury service includes PhD and Master's thesis evaluations at Istanbul and Yıldız Universities.
Scientific Awards:
- 2016 Türk Fizik Derneği Onur Ödülü
