Arturo F Ehuan is the Executive Director of Duke University's Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity program and serves as an Executive in Residence within the Engineering Graduate and Professional Programs. He holds an M.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2005). Previously, he served as Vice President at Palo Alto Networks, Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal (leading global cyber risk services), and held cybersecurity leadership roles at USAA, Northrop Grumman, and Cisco. He has extensive government and law enforcement experience, including roles as a Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI and Special Agent with the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Arturo has provided expert testimony in federal and military courts on digital forensics and cybercrime and has advised on major data breaches (e.g., Heartland, Target, Sony, Anthem, Equifax, Capital One). He has lectured for the U.S. State Department’s Anti-Terrorism Assistance Cyber Training Program for nearly 20 years.
His academic contributions include teaching courses such as Managing Cyber Threats through Effective Leadership Strategies, Security Incident Detection, Response, and Resilience, and Master of Engineering Internship/Project. His professional expertise focuses on bridging cybersecurity theory with real-world governance, incident response, and leadership strategies in both public and private sectors.
