معرفی
Artur Slobodeniuk is a Leading Researcher in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague, a position he has held since 2020. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratoire National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses (CNRS, Grenoble) from 2015 to 2019 and at the Department of Theoretical Physics, University of Geneva from 2012 to 2015.
He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics (NAS of Ukraine, 2012), an Mgr. in Physics with honors from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2008), and a Bc. in Physics from the same institution (2007).
Dr. Slobodeniuk's research centers on condensed matter physics, with a focus on two-dimensional materials (particularly transition metal dichalcogenides), excitonic complexes, and strongly correlated electron systems. His work examines phenomena including magneto-photoluminescence, exciton-photon interactions, and quantum transport. Methodologically, he employs k-p perturbation theory, tight-binding approximation, and Green's function methods to investigate Dirac materials and mesoscopic systems.
His 2017-2023 publications reveal consistent emphasis on optical properties of 2D materials, particularly valley-selective manipulation in TMD monolayers. Key themes include exciton fine structure, dark exciton dynamics, and valley coherence, demonstrating strong integration of theoretical modeling with experimental collaboration across international teams.
Dr. Slobodeniuk has supervised theses as indicated by the "Vedené práce" section of his profile. His research has been supported through postdoctoral fellowships at CNRS and the University of Geneva, and currently by Charles University.
Based in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics at Charles University, he investigates quantum phenomena in novel low-dimensional materials, contributing significantly to understanding excitonic behavior in 2D semiconductors.
