Professor Arthur James Lowery (BSc, PhD) is a full-time faculty member at Monash University's Faculty of Engineering, specifically within the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (ECSE). He holds the ARC Laureate Fellow distinction and has served as Head of Department (2007-2012). His research spans electro-photonics, optical OFDM, and brain-machine interfaces, with extensive work on photonic integrated circuits and fiber nonlinearity compensation.
