Arthur Erdman is the Morse Alumni Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering. He also serves as Director of the Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center, where he leads initiatives in medical technology innovation and education.
His research focuses on biomedical engineering and medical device design, with a strong emphasis on translating engineering principles into clinical applications.
