Arthur Babiarz

Arthur Babiarz serves as a Lecturer in the Continuing Studies department at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, teaching digital imaging courses since 2006. His professional background spans graphic design, illustration, and digital image editing, with extensive expertise in Adobe applications including Illustrator and Photoshop since 1992.

He holds a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland, forming the foundation of his academic credentials.

His research and pedagogical focus centers on visual communication through digital design, photography, graphic arts, interactive media, new media, and video production. Babiarz emphasizes that form inherently conveys message, requiring artists to generate skillful, meaningful imagery—a principle driving his instructional approach to rapidly evolving computer-graphics technologies.
