Dr. Artemis Treindl is a researcher specializing in fungal biodiversity, conservation, and systematics. She currently serves as Curator of the Fungarium at the Institute of Integrative Biology, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and previously worked as a mycologist on the Swiss Red List of macrofungi at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL). She holds a PhD in adaptation genomics of fungal plant pathogens.
Research Interests: Her work integrates molecular, ecological, and field-based approaches to study fungal evolution, environmental interactions, and biodiversity protection. She actively promotes interdisciplinary collaborations between science and the arts to enhance communication of fungal importance.
