معرفی
Dr. Arsh Hazrah is a Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, where he leads research in surface-specific spectroscopic techniques. He holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Alberta (2023), focusing on atmospheric aerosol nucleation. His postdoctoral work, supported by Alexander von Humboldt, Marie Skłodowska-Curie, and NSERC fellowships, explored interfacial phenomena in aqueous systems using vibrational sum-frequency generation spectroscopy. His current research integrates advanced spectroscopy with interfacial science to study energy, environmental, and materials challenges.
- Education: BSc (Chemistry/Physics, 2018), PhD (Physical Chemistry, 2023) from University of Alberta.
Research interests include interfacial dynamics, aerosol aging, CO₂ reduction, and 2D material synthesis. He employs heterodyne-detected and time-dependent sum-frequency generation spectroscopy to resolve spatial/temporal interfacial processes. Awards include prestigious fellowships from global funding bodies.
Grants and awards highlight his work’s significance, with funding from Alexander von Humboldt, Marie Skłodowska-Curie, and NSERC programs. His group advances molecular-scale understanding of environmental and energy systems through cutting-edge spectroscopic innovations.
