Aron Spall

Aron Spall is a Senior Lecturer in Media, Arts and Communications at Sheffield Hallam University's College of Social Sciences and Arts. His practice-based research explores the intersection of digital technologies with photography, memory, and perception through mixed-reality installations.

Research examines:

• The evolution of photography in digital ecologies
• Hybrid physical-digital spaces
• Memory representation through 3D imaging
• Participatory art experiences

Recent exhibitions include When The Space Becomes the Screen (S1 Artspace, 2022) and Conversations in Practice (Persistence Works Gallery, 2023) exploring embodied interaction with digital artifacts.
