Arnoud Visser is Professor of Textual Culture in the Renaissance at Utrecht University's Department of Languages, Literature and Communication, and serves as director of the national Huizinga Institute for cultural history research. His scholarship focuses on intellectual traditions in early modern Europe, particularly humanism, reading history, and knowledge evaluation dynamics.
