معرفی
Prof. Arne Lützen is a Professor of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Kekulé-Institut für Organische Chemie und Biochemie, University of Bonn. He holds a leadership role in the Transdisciplinary Research Area (TRA) Matter Steering Committee, focusing on advanced materials and interdisciplinary research. His research spans organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, and optoelectronic materials, with particular emphasis on metallosupramolecular aggregates, chiral self-sorting, and excitonic phenomena in thin films.
- Affiliations: TRA Matter, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
- Research Themes: Supramolecular chemistry, self-assembly, organic electronics, spin-crossover materials
Key contributions include designing octanuclear metallosupramolecular cages with spin-crossover properties and pioneering studies on chiral organic photodiodes for circularly polarized light detection. Prof. Lützen leads the TIDE Research Training Group (GRK 2591) on template-driven organic electronics, fostering interdisciplinary doctoral training.
His work bridges organic synthesis with functional materials development, addressing challenges in optoelectronic devices and molecular recognition systems.
