Dr. Arne Langlet is a Senior Scientist at the Environmental Policy Research Group (EPRG) at the University of Vienna's Institute of Political Science. His current role involves researching marine biodiversity governance and international negotiations. Previously, he worked on the Horizon Europe MARCO-BOLO project analyzing marine biodiversity data utilization and served as a fisheries advisor for the FAO focusing on ecosystem restoration. He holds a Master's in International Relations from Berlin and a Bachelor's in European Studies from Maastricht University.
Research interests include marine policy, international organizations, negotiation dynamics, and network analysis. His work bridges environmental governance challenges and policy design, particularly in transnational marine ecosystems.
