Dr. Arnaud Goussebaïle holds dual academic appointments:
- Lecturer at ETH Zurich's Department of Management, Technology, and Economics
- Senior Researcher at École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) affiliated with CIRED
He additionally serves as head of studies for ENPC's economics department and teaches the economics of climate change course at ETH Zurich.
His research program centers on climate change economics through two complementary streams:
- Mitigation analysis: Investigating causal factors, evaluating climate scenarios, and identifying barriers to sustainable economic transitions
- Adaptation frameworks: Assessing physical climate risks and developing insurance mechanisms/preventive measures
He maintains active research collaborations through ETH Zurich's Integratives Risikomanagement und Ökonomie (IRME) group and ENPC's Centre International de Recherche sur l'Environnement et le Développement (CIRED).
