Armando McDonald

Armando McDonald is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Forest, Rangeland and Fire Sciences at the University of Idaho's College of Natural Resources. His research program focuses on sustainable biomaterials, wood chemistry, and the development of renewable material technologies. His investigations span biopolymer science, biomass conversion technologies, and advanced composite materials derived from natural resources.

Research interests include the development of novel applications for lignocellulosic materials, catalytic pyrolysis processes for biomass conversion, and the engineering of sustainable composites.
